Cheese Pastry (Burekas)
 
Ingredients
  • 2 Package of Puff pastry, cut into 20 squares
  • 150 grams Ricotta Cheese (5.2 Ounce)
  • 200 grams Cottage Cheese (7 Ounce)
  • 100 grams Feta Cheese, crumbled (3.5 Ounce)
  • 170 grams Manchego Cheese, grated (6 Ounce)
  • 170 grams Guyere cheese, grated (6 Ounce)
  • 2 Eggs
  • ½ Tsp Salt
  • 2 Tbsp Sesame Seeds
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 190 °C (375 ℉) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper
  2. Mix in the cheeses, one of the eggs and salt
  3. Fill in the puff pastry with a tablespoon of the cheese mix and tighten the edges together with your fingers. Then secure the seal with a fork.
  4. Repeat with all and place each on the lined baking sheet.
  5. In a small bowl, whisk the additional egg and brush each Burek lightly on top. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  6. Place in the oven for 20 minutes or until golden brown on top and nicely puffed.
  7. Eat while still warm
