Cheese Pastry (Burekas)
- 2 Package of Puff pastry, cut into 20 squares
- 150 grams Ricotta Cheese (5.2 Ounce)
- 200 grams Cottage Cheese (7 Ounce)
- 100 grams Feta Cheese, crumbled (3.5 Ounce)
- 170 grams Manchego Cheese, grated (6 Ounce)
- 170 grams Guyere cheese, grated (6 Ounce)
- 2 Eggs
- ½ Tsp Salt
- 2 Tbsp Sesame Seeds
- Preheat oven to 190 °C (375 ℉) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper
- Mix in the cheeses, one of the eggs and salt
- Fill in the puff pastry with a tablespoon of the cheese mix and tighten the edges together with your fingers. Then secure the seal with a fork.
- Repeat with all and place each on the lined baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, whisk the additional egg and brush each Burek lightly on top. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Place in the oven for 20 minutes or until golden brown on top and nicely puffed.
- Eat while still warm
